Over $2.1 Billion Available for Injured Veterans and Gold Star Families

Under the U.S. Victims of State Sponsored Terrorism Act (USVSST), Congress created a fund backed by the DOJ and other agencies to compensate Veterans and families harmed by terrorist attacks in Iraq and Afghanistan

Service members injured by IEDs, EFPs, sniper fire, or bombings, and families of the fallen, can pursue federal court judgments against Iran, which funded these attacks.

Claim Compensation from the USVSST Fund

The U.S. Victims of State Sponsored Terrorism (USVSST) Fund was established by Congress to provide compensation to American service members and families who were harmed by acts of terrorism funded by hostile foreign governments like Iran.

This fund is supported by assets seized from state sponsors of terrorism, not from taxpayer money.

You may qualify if:

• You served in Iraq or Afghanistan between 2003–2015

• You were injured or lost a loved one in an attack involving IEDs, EFPs, or other enemy weapons

• You have evidence of a service-related injury or Purple Heart designation

• You have not yet filed a claim or judgment under the USVSST

Our law firm is investigating these cases now.

FAQ

How do I know if I have a qualifying injury?

Once we gather basic info and any available documents (like SIGACTs), we file suit. Expert reports support your case, and a default judgment is issued against Iran. We then apply to the U.S. Victims of State Sponsored Terrorism Fund on your behalf. Past awards have been substantial.

Over $573 Million Awarded to U.S. Troops and Families

In a major legal victory, a federal court in Washington, D.C. has awarded more than $573 million in damages to U.S. service members and their families who were injured or killed in terrorist attacks in Iraq. The court found that Iran was directly responsible for supporting the groups behind these attacks, supplying them with weapons, training, and funding.

What This Means for You

These rulings show that the courts are holding Iran accountable and that injured veterans and Gold Star families can successfully secure substantial compensation. If you or your loved one served in Iraq or Afghanistan and were harmed by IEDs, EFPs, or other terror-related attacks, now is the time to explore your eligibility. New claims are being filed regularly, and additional payments are expected from the fund.

Don't Miss Your Opportunity

Time is limited. Thousands of Veterans and Gold Star families have already received compensation. But claims must be filed properly and within specific legal timelines.
